Why did/didn’t you vote for President Nikolic?
Tadic was too much concentrated to get the approval of the EU than looking at the intersts of Serbian people.
Is there any substantial difference between Tadic and Nikolic
Politically yes, one is Democrat pro EU the other more conservative but always pro EU
What do you think of the prospect of Tadic as prime minister with Nikolic president
I think it is a bit of a shame but prob. is what the EU and US wants.
Who paid for the massive election campaigns of the main parties?
Lobbies, public money, prob. foreign capital, Tadic and Nikolic are almost the same..
What is the most important political issue for you? The state of the economy, political corruption, joining the EU or the welfare of Serbs in Kosovo.
Northern Kosovo.
Is it true the main parties are corrupt (embezzling money, controlled by foreign interests and oligarchs, collaborating with each other under the covers)
Yes
What will happen if Serbia has a crisis like its near neighbour Greece?
We had it worse, we are still here!
What will happen with Kosovo?
The Serbs will fight for it in all the possible manners, whatever it takes or how long it will take, it is a matter of principle and of dignity
Is there any fresh blood in the political system? Who are the rising stars? Who should we be watching? Dacic…but he is not new… the others as him are all compromised with previous rule, including Draskovic and Co…
What does the future hold for Serbia? I hope peace, stability and EU membership with Northern Kosovo if EU will really understand the issue of self-determination is valid also for the Serbs not only for the Albanians.

1. I didn’t vote for anyone because it was voting between 2 sides of the same coin. NATO – EU- neoliberalism coin…
2. Same liars and frauds.
3. It is laughing at us people and it means: “Yes u stupid people you can’t change anything with voting, we will do everything to fool you after the elections…”
4. Tycoons, EU-NATO states, stolen money from public works and positions…
5. At first place it is Serbia’s boundaries and occupied wealth and heritage on Kosovo and Metohija also meaning welfare of Kosovo Serbs and other non Albanian people.
6. Of course it is true. Hope this question is not hypocritical and to present us as conspiracy theorists.
7. Nothing special. Serbs are not known for anarchy and changing of system trough violence. I don’t count there October 2000 when protests were organized from west like today Ukraine, Libya, Egypt, Russia, Syria…
8. It will always be Serbian. No unilateral decision can make Serbs forget about Kosovo. Sooner or later that amount of injustice toward Serbian people and world circumstances will allow Serbs to return to Kosovo in full sovereignty.
9. Yes there is. If you know who that was new, was stolen from census on this elections, then you should who it is. Just wait.
10. Same as all western hemisphere. Crisis, insecurity, poverty, crushing of a system, new sort of dictatorship in neoliberalism EU, all of that until it collapses like it should. After that, hope we will finally be left alone to live on our way.

Hope this answers will suit you and hope that this will not be abused by you in some way. We had many bad experiences with western one-sided point of view.

Regards,

Nikola

1.Why did/didn’t you vote for President Nikolic?
I didn’t vote for Nikolic , because I don’t belive in him. How somebody who don’t speak any language can represent this country ? He is going to destroy Serbia , and get us in new war…

2.Is there any substantial difference between Tadic and Nikolic?
Yes , there is. Tadic has work hard to get us in Europe, Nikolic will destroy it.

3.What do you think of the prospect of Tadic as prime minister with Nikolic president
I think that is the best for Serbia in this hard moment with president like Nikolic.

4.Who paid for the massive election campaigns of the main parties?
Tycoons, EU, people of Serbia.

5.What is the most important political issue for you? The state of the economy, political corruption, joining the EU or the welfare of Serbs in Kosovo
EU and the state and the economy. We need new work places …Kosovo is not Serbian any more , we only need to protect our people there.

6.Is it true the main parties are corrupt (embezzling money, controlled by foreign interests and oligarchs, collaborating with each other under the covers)
Yes.

7.What will happen if Serbia has a crisis like its near neighbour Greece?
Nothing. Serbian people can survive everthyng. Can it be worse than now ?? I think, no…

8.What will happen with Kosovo?
We will get it back . Everybody who know history , know that Serbs don’t give up from thair land. It just is not the moment for it.

9.Is there any fresh blood in the political system? Who are the rising stars? Who should we be watching?
No. But we desperatly need one .

10.What does the future hold for Serbia?
EU, peace and bether economy. Only if our president want to work on it . And for few years ,to get Kosovo back .

1.Why did/didn’t you vote for President Nikolic?

Mister Tadic is a talker – not a doer. He hasn’t got the mental strength, the will, the vision to undertake the needed reforms in the Serbian society. Because of this “not doing mode” he just slightly differs from mister Nikolic. A lot of talk and no doing equals lieing.

2.Is there any substantial difference between Tadic and Nikolic

There is a difference but that is not of crucial importance. Essentially they don’t offer diferrent answers to Serbian social, kultural, institutional, economic, … problems

3.What do you think of the prospect of Tadic as prime minister with Nikolic president

This is not the right one. The right question should be: “Is mister Tadic sending the wrong message to the nation by accepting to be Prime minister (It is OK to be irresponsible. So everybody lets be irresponsible. ”

4.Who paid for the massive election campaigns of the main parties?

The people of Serbia

5.What is the most important political issue for you? The state of the economy, political corruption, joining the EU or the welfare of Serbs in Kosovo

Political issues in order of importance:
- political corruption
- joining the EU
- ecomomy

6.Is it true the main parties are corrupt (embezzling money, controlled by foreign interests and oligarchs, collaborating with each other under the covers)

If you leave out the word (not allways necessary) foreign this is true for countries all around the world. But, for Serbia it is more true than for Sweeden or some other highly developed country.

7.What will happen if Serbia has a crisis like its near neighbour Greece?

Not much

8.What will happen with Kosovo?

The right question is what happened to Kosovo, not what will happen. The thing that will happen to Kosovo allready happened.

9.Is there any fresh blood in the political system? Who are the rising stars? Who should we be watching?

In the political spere there is no new blood. Mybee we should be watching the analysts that mister Tadic blamed for his on the elections for President

10.What does the future hold for Serbia?

The future depends on several variables. Some are domestic and some are external

the external:
world economic crisis

domestic:
what is the real attitude of the serbian people towards Euro integrations and what is the understanding of the people of this proces

1. I didn’t vote! I do not believe to a single politician in the world and especially in Serbia, they are all liars and puppets of the U.S.
2. No difference. Both are in the hand of “Uncle Sam”
3. I agree with Nikola “It is laughing at us people and it means: “Yes u stupid people you can’t change anything with voting, we will do everything to fool you after the elections…”
4. They hide their financiers, which is against the constitutional
5. Everything you mentioned
6. Yes, it is!
7. Poverty in this country is on the rise, many people work for 150 eur. per month, and that is barely enough to survive. Taxes are constantly growing and wages are reduced, too many factoryis were closed due to a corrupt DS( Democratic Party) and DSS privatization .. If that were to happen, 70% of people would be hungry and on the street.
8. Kosovo was stolen by force from Serbia by the U.S. and EU. Serbian people has suffered one of the greatest injustices in the history of the world, a world press constantly participate in propaganda against Serbia and the Serbian people to justify it! Kosovo is now the world’s largest center for drug production and for its distribution. Guess who has the benefit of it. Kosovo is lost now. Albanians were driven out almost all Serbs from there with the help of EULEX. It is now just a piece of land soaked with blood, ruled by the Albanian mafia.
9. I think not, but maybe just maybe “DVERI”
10. I am afraid to think about the future, no future for us!

11.Serbian people do not want Eu. European Union has made a great injustice to the Serbian people. bombed, killing children and destroying homes. During World War II, when Germany wanted to force Serbia to sign the Pact, the people was screaming: “Better grave than slave”.
We do not want to be anyone’s slave, we are a nation of free spirit. we have the example of Romania, Bulgaria and Greece that does not solve anything by joining the European Union.
regards to you Katja.

1) Why did/didn’t you vote for President Nikolic?

Because he’s the lesser of two evils. With Tadic, Serbia has become worse-off when it comes to the economy, and his policies are far too pro-Western. He doesn’t look to Serbia’s interests, but the interests that would satisfy others. Plus, he’s already ran two terms, giving him a third would be criminal.

2) Is there any substantial difference between Tadic and Nikolic?

Yes. The biggest difference is patriotism. Nikolic is arguably more pro-Serbia, and doesn’t care so much for the West’s opinions. However, I still believe Nikolic to be a puppet of the West.

3) What do you think of the prospect of Tadic as prime minister with Nikolic president?

I don’t like that Tadic is prime minister. He’s said on numerous occasions that he would not try to be prime minister, and look where he is now. He’s the staple politician: a liar.

4) Who paid for the massive election campaigns of the main parties?

We did.

5) What is the most important political issue for you? The state of the economy, political corruption, joining the EU or the welfare of Serbs in Kosovo?

Politics will always be corrupt, so I’d have to go with Kosovo and the economy.

6) Is it true the main parties are corrupt (embezzling money, controlled by foreign interests and oligarchs, collaborating with each other under the covers)?

Most likely.

7) What will happen if Serbia has a crisis like its near neighbour Greece?

It’s very unlikely, as long as we stay out of the EU. Which is one of many reasons as to why we should stay out. But, if it were to occur, I think we’d handle it a little better than Greece. I think some people would even be happy if they had an excuse to protest for something.

8) What will happen with Kosovo?

Impossible to tell. I’d take a king Solomon stance, and give the upper half back to Serbia, since the majority is there, and leave the bottom half.

9) Is there any fresh blood in the political system? Who are the rising stars? Who should we be watching?

The president. Nobody knows what he’s going to be like.

10) What does the future hold for Serbia?

Great things. People like Novak Djokovic are doing wonders for our image, we have a new president, our economy seems to have stabalized, and I can only see it getting better.
